VernX builds purpose-built AI models that solve hard, domain-specific problems. We believe the most impactful AI won't come from general-purpose systems alone — it will come from models deeply trained on the realities of specific industries and geographies.

Our first model family, Shoonya (from the Sanskrit word for 'zero' — the origin of computation itself), focuses on mobility and transport intelligence. Trained specifically for Indian road conditions, Shoonya sees what generic models miss: the auto-rickshaws weaving through traffic, the two-wheelers darting between lanes, the trucks that define India's highways.

While Shoonya is in development, we've launched Photolog — a geo-tagged field survey platform that helps teams capture, organize, and export location-based data. It's the first step in our mission to build tools that work for India's infrastructure and mobility challenges.

Future iterations of Shoonya will expand into other critical domains — building a portfolio of AI models that understand India's unique challenges from the ground up.

What is Shoonya 1.0?

Shoonya 1.0 is our flagship vision-language model purpose-built for Indian traffic intelligence. It processes live CCTV feeds to perform real-time vehicle detection, ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition), congestion analysis, incident detection, and multilingual reporting — all optimised for Indian road conditions and license plate formats.

Who is VernX built for?

Our products are designed for government agencies, smart city projects, highway authorities, toll operators, and municipal corporations. We also work with private logistics companies and urban planning consultancies that need AI-driven insights at scale.

Is my data safe and stored securely?

Yes. We follow a strict data-minimisation policy. Video streams are processed in-memory and only structured metadata (timestamps, vehicle classes, plate strings) is persisted — never raw video unless explicitly required by the deployment contract. All data at rest is AES-256 encrypted and we offer on-premise deployment for government clients with sovereign data requirements.
